Clever aren't they? All the height disappears into the wrist due to the caseback design :D

Thanks. I gave up with the deployant – it's one massive faff. Apart from the fact I'm between holes so there's either a huge gap or it's boa constrictor tight, the keeper is supposed to go over the whole clasp and spare strap to keep it all tucked in and neat, but Christ … I'm sure there's a knack to it but putting on a watch shouldn't involve losing 10 minutes of your life every time.

Anyway, a new vintage strap is on order in similar colour to the original, which I actually really like. I'm also going to try and find another strap to fit the clasp to. It needs the 12 o'clock side to be a bit longer.

All that said, many people have said they love the deployant and it fits perfectly :?

Lovely. I’m amazed by the range of case finishes and dial colours available for the Metris.

Thanks Chuck. It’s a good question, I don’t know, but I like that they’re a little bit uncommon.
I was originally after a blue dial like yours, but this one appealed as well and the price was good...

Yep, it’s definitely a case of clever design John. The bowl shaped case and caseback works wonders.
