Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
First wrist shot post (ever). Amazing how much bigger the watches look but this fits me perfectly on my ~>6.5" wrist. Great non-dive tough watch.

They were produced late 2017/early 2018 but they used the earlier ETA for them. It was for a group within an organisation but the group is neither military nor anything to do with politics nor religion for that matter too. They have become highly sought after by Tudor collectors with, as far as I am aware, 5 watches having been sold for £20k eachThegreyman wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:00 pmChris375 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:59 pmIt’s a Black Bay Blue and yes it is a LE. They only produced 75 of them.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:29 pm
Can I ask what model of BB that is, some sort of LE with the rose and crown emblem? I don’t recall seeing one of these before, very interesting.
Thanks for replying. I’m guessing it is the later in house movement due to the shield logo rather than a rose (which was on the earlier ETAs such as my own). Was the LE for a particular organisation or event?

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.
Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks. That’s the standard nato the watch comes with from Bremont, if you don’t buy the white S300 on the bracelet it comes with this and a temple island rubber strap.

Thanks Chris, I've seen a reference to the watch elsewhere, a very rare piece indeed.Chris375 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 7:25 amThey were produced late 2017/early 2018 but they used the earlier ETA for them.
