I've been digging, and stuff, up on an allotment this morning. Reckon my Elliot Brown Holton Automatic is up to the task.

Starting the day off w/ a new arrival..it's a Benrus Type 1 re-issue..40mm brushed SS case.. locking, but unsigned, crown..ETA 2681 movement..300mm WR..I replaced the black nylon strap w/ a faded black canvas strap..mine is #74 of 1,000..

For later this afternoon/evening, a Glycine 'Coffee' Combat Sub(GL0302)..produced for the 'Drop'... I ordered this baby in Nov. of 2019!!..due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production was interrupted and only recently was it fulfilled...the watch is a 42mm SS case w/ a signed, locking crown...the hands and indices are of a tan color & the bezel is 'coke' colored...only a few hundred made & mine is un-numbered...

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

These MeisterSingers are the only watches where I think the date cyclops looks good!

I have to agree with you! On this watch it just seems to work and makes the date display much more cohesive than it would be otherwise.
