Hi Tim...IMO the strap is well worth the money and I was more than willing to pay that...but that amount for the buckle NO :shock:

The truth is, the brands can get those prices so they charge them. I paid £150 or so for my Fortis butterfly and while it is nice, it is just a generic butterfly Fortis branded. However, I labour under the delusion that a watch is not complete without its branded buckle/clasp so gritted my teeth and coughed up. There, got that off my chest.
