Re: Non CW of the Day
Thought I'd break out an old favorite for some work around the casa this morning..
For a nephew's house warming party later this afternoon..

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Very practical and versatile addition to the collection. Bought from Stefs here on the CWF - a smooth sale from a great guy!

Cheers Gary.gaf1958 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 1:08 pmVery nice Guy, so that’s the new acquisition... I tried one on when I was in the US in 2017; it was preowned, but truly lovely. It would have taken a sizeable chunk out of my holiday budget though, so I compromised by buying a much less expensive Oris instead. I’ll bet you’re pleased with yours.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:
Yes, definitely very pleased with it.
Much as its a 39mm case, which is small for me, the bezel is 41mm with gives it a larger feel. Mine was originally bought new in 2017 from the Breguet AD in Vienna. Considering the timeline and that it would have originally been produced in 2010, I'm mindful that a service may be required sooner than later.
Clarity on the dial and lume is first rate and it could (potentially, if push came to shove) be my one watch.

PS> I have an Oris inbound. Currently sat at the village Post office for me to collect on Monday. Probably a tad larger than yours though.
