I rather like that. It’s also nice to see a manufacturer using contrasting hands against a white dial.
I do too!

Bit of bronze today. The package came with an interesting fact sheet outlining the US regulations for safe disposal of hazardous metals

Well, coming from you and from what I've have seen of yours, I take that as a high compliment, indeed...this Speedy was a 'normal' Speedy that I switched dials on..Ebay had a good deal on a 'Moon to Mars' dial a few years ago and I had an extra Speedy..so, I just had my local watch maker switch out dials(btw, he lost the original dial!!!)...the band for this baby is pretty worn out and I need to get a replacement for it, so if you have any ideas, I would appreciate it...good hunting!!.. :)

That’s the best execution of a fuel gauge power reserve I’ve seen on a watch.

Apple Watch again today. OK, I’ll admit it. This is a lot cooler than I expected it to be. I’ve been an I’ll never own one since they came out. To be able to see my calendar at the flip of the wrist, as well as the blood sugar reading from my continuous glucose monitor, and of course the time and date without having to pull out my phone and open up multiple apps is pretty darn cool.

What are your thoughts on this Steiny?...Gnomon is having a hard time keeping them in stock..I ordered a jubilee bracelet for mine and prefer it to the stock bracelet..I'm having a hard time giving my Oris 65 Bronze Bezel more wrist time over this one.. :problem:

I much prefer the 39 to the 42. They both have long flat lugs, but with the 39 they’re a suitable length for my wrist. I find the 42 to be too long, but the diameter is just fine either way... I like that the bracelet pivots at the spring bars (like a hollow end link does) rather than at some point further out like a lot of solid end links do.

I like that they went with a black dial again, rather than the dark grey found on the 42. I think if it had a ceramic bezel, with a flush pearl at 12 it’d be many people’s ideal watch (brand prestige aside). As it is it’s still pretty good though.
