^^ That's a whole new watch wardrobe, right there. I will have to do some research. :D

Actually, I wouldn't expect to wear anything particularly different - so that Bremont, The Explorer etc - unless of course, there's a good reason not to...

I often fancied the yellow version but I wasn't in a position to buy at the time.

Cheers Guy - I saw a blue one and a yellow one in Vancouver last year and nearly grabbed one on the spot, but decided to hold out for red. Then they started disappearing! I was lucky to spot this one, and as I was in Toronto over the summer I could bring it back with me, so it worked well from a delivery point of view too.

I’m really happy with it, if you find a yellow one you should totally get it...!

Richard, can I ask your opinion of the bremont bracelet? I keep toying with the idea for one for my solo but it is quite pricey. In general I find bracelets to be the more comfortable and usually better looking option. Never seen a solo on one in the flesh. As a previous solo owner what do you reckon?

^^^ My honest opinion of the Bremont bracelet is that it does not match the quality of the watch, and it has hardly been developed over the last 10 years. No half-links, only a couple of adjustment holes on the clasp and a slightly underwhelming appearance.

Having said all of that, my Supermarine is very comfortable on the bracelet and it is (luckily) a great fit. It is also well balanced.

My wife has a Solo 32 which is also on a bracelet (butterfly clasp, no adjustment holes) and she also finds it comfortable.

Would I buy one for an existing watch? No, unless I could get one at a good price - possibly a used one.
