I doubt you'll be disappointed as the Sinn 104 is a well regarded watch.

Looking at one a few years back I concluded it being a tad on the small side for my preferences. Mind you, preferences change and I'd probably feel OK with it now.

Its interesting to see, which I hadn't noticed before, that you have a Countdown bezel, but I'm also intrigued about the dial, as the shading on the image you've posted suggests its not a plain black but has an element of dark blue. :-k :-k

Size wise I used to always want a chunk of metal on my wrists but as you say tastes do change and I've become a tat more reserved.

Yes it's a countdown bezel, not sure if the older version was different. The dial is a dark blue which I really love so I hope it looks as good in the metal.

More of a Beer & Whisky man myself, but if that's the worst you've bought after too much wine then I would say you're doing well - I'll bet it still looks nice when the parcel arrives!

drinking and buying is bad. but ambient and not knowing you bought something until it shows up is worse.

This just proves that drinking is a sinn

Seriously though, lovely watch. I have been tempted by a Sinn (u50) so one day may join you in the owners club myself (quite possibly after a few large glasses of red!).

That is Sinnply stunning. The bracelet looks amazing. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the 5 link bracelet, along with the watch of course.

Thanks guys,

Love the bracelet, it’s absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by the watch. There is no denying that is superbly made and the dial colour is beautiful but there is just something missing for me.

When I got my flightmaster the other day I was so impressed with it and really enjoyed putting it on and looking at it but this somehow hasn’t hit the spot, and for a £1500 purchase i do need to a little more excited than I do.

May be the bezel is a bit too sensible or tooly for me. I’m really not sure 🤔

However I love Sinn and I can’t fault the watch at all as a quality product, it just simply hasn’t got me excited enough to want to keep it.
