It's sedna gold (Omega's rose gold), Andrew. So is the crown, love-it or hate-it HEV and various links on the bracelet.

Ahh OK. I was trying to picture the insert with a cool patina if it was bronze. Congrats on the new watch! It’s a beauty.

'tis rather nice. Top notch purchase.

Very subdued and Tool Watch like; in a good way.

The dial intrigues me. It's not easy to see on a small screen on my phone, but the waves on the dial look like ribs, as opposed to the more usual grooves (as seen on the regular Seamaster?).

Are they?

Congratulations. Not quite my thing but a superb watch nonetheless.

The watch is lovely, but the box (if it may be referred to in such a pedestrian manner) takes the prize; it’s a ripper!

Very, very white. I just need a slightly larger wrist (and a much bigger bank account).
