Brilliant watch! I had the black dial one years ago and really enjoyed it.

Thegreyman wrote: Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:20 am Very nice looking watch and Bremont's always look very well put together. I tried a Solo 37 before and found it too small for me, the 43mm would be too large. Pity they don't do a 40mm!

The white hands look fine to me, edged with black.
Maybe you should try one, Patrick? I don’t own a 44mm Panerai but have tried a few on in the past and the 43mm Bremonts wear smaller. So, if you can carry your Panerai off you can carry a Bremont off I reckon
Chris, you might be right but I still think it would be a little large for me, it is probably reasonably tall too?

I feel like one of the main points of the Panerai is the size and presence they have, which justifies the 44mm i.e. they are meant to be big. The handwound PAMs (which mine is) are also noticeably slimmer than the PAM autos so wear well considering.
My MB2 is 14.5mm, however about 2mm of that is the domed crystal. I think the solo is a couple of mm less. I get what you mean about the justification of the Panerai size, they are meant to have that presence. I feel a little bit the same about my ALT1-C in the way that it’s a ‘pilot chronograph’ so meant to have presence which justifies its 43mm, nearly 17mm height. Maybe a Panerai would sit quite nicely next to my 2 Bremonts? :D

Chris, it definitely would. There is a Panerai boutique in the Berry's Victoria Quarter in Leeds that I have visited. Not too far from you!!

It's a very clean, clear, clutter free dial. A great choice.

Thanks guys for the mostly positive comments, and those that are of course personal opinions too..😀
@tigerchris....i didn't try the airco on because i was looking for a white dial watch, i already have a blue faced omega and a black faced omega and a cw mk3 trident gmt...
I wore it today for the first time out in the wild, it does look well as a casual type watch as much as i think it will as a dress type watch too...with regard to its size, i was actually looking for a 40mm size so it is a little bigger than intended to get, however lug to lug size is similar to my trident gmt so i thought why not.....the 37mm was just too small in my opinion....

I think it will sit very nicely next to those 3 existing watches, I really like the clean lines of the Solo. Was the white dial Mach1 or 2 not to your taste in 40mm?

Exactly how it should be - you buy it for you not anyone else

My White dial Bremont says hi

Excellent buy, I do love a nice Bremont and have a couple myself. Their Trip Tick case design is their major positive and personally I think it’s the best case design out there. It also helps visually reduce some of the height issues others have alluded to.

I agree completely Iain. I had a 37 Solo and although I have to admit the height to width proportions seem at odds I thought it worked really well because of the case design.
Congratulations on a great purchase, enjoy.

Congrats. It's a really versatile watch and can be dressed up or down with a simple strap change. I love mine.

Steveostraps.com. This one is a 2 piece and is not listed on his website. You'll see the Nato version but just drop him an email and he'll respond. If you are interested in the Nato, I have one available - I ordered it first but just don't get on with them. Pm me.

Tried one of these on not that long ago - they are beautiful! The white dial is really crisp and I didn’t have any problem with legibility.

My wrist is 7” and the 43mm was just right for me. I do like a bit of presence though!

Great choice - enjoy it!
