As in the pastel blue OP?
No as in the dark blue (rolex calls it bright)

Good man. That pastel blue would have been prime flipping material I reckon.

Can't fault your choice, although like you I think I prefer the 3-6-9 blue dial of the previous range.

I didn't think they came with useable WR? 30m IIRC

On top of that, I reckon that will wear very small. The 38mm Alpina diver I owned with a similar case shape wore quite a bit smaller than a 38mm C60.

Now a 40mm Panerai, yes! And they come with 300m WR

Now that would be a good option, I particularly like the blue dial.

My Luminor has 300m WR so I'm not sure why the Due case can only be 30m, academic really. Unless you want to take it in the sea, is it a real problem or just a theoretical one.

The Luminor Due range has some fantastic dials but, as has been mentioned, how useable for daily wear is 30m WR? I think you have to view the Due range as dress watches with Panerai design and then it starts to make a little sense. On looks alone, that blue dial Panerai Due is the best looking watch in the whole of this thread in my opinion - even with the 30m WR, it would be my pick without a doubt.

Ryan, It is interesting that you feel it may wear too small as my concern would have been the opposite. My feeling was the cushion case will make it feel larger and the crown guard would do the same.

As for the 30m WR. just plain bloody annoying and I am sure they could have done better than that. However a watch that is supplied on a leather strap anyway is unlikely to get wet other than being caught in the rain so maybe in the real world not such an issue.
nice looking though and it is only the blue which is titanium. I can imagine it being very light and comfortable on the wrist.

Yeh, I was speaking from my experience of the Alpina which had a lug-lug of 42-43mm iirc. Thought Panerais also had short L-L lengths, but I jumped the gun.

Having searched for the lug-lug on the Due, I can't see the size being an issue at 45.5mm.
The blue is a lovely watch, but I'd want sufficient WR on a daily.

Spend time at greater than 30m underwater daily?

No, but I do shower or swim with my watch on, so a watch rated at 30m that only qualifies as splash resistant probably won't cut the mustard.

The topic has been covered a few times before, but manufacturers WR ratings aren't worth the paper they're printed on at times.

If a manufacturer won't guarantee that it's safe to swim in, I wouldn't be chancing it, and certainly not on a watch of significant value.

Late to the party, but for others finding this thread, no one mentioned the Tudor black bay 36 (in blue). It’s a shame that the bracelet doesn’t have the glide lock (photo found in hurry)

I recommended a BB36 (normal black dial) not knowing he has the BB58 in blue already.
