That such an extraordinary watch! Perfect balance between a totally functional tool watch and a thing of beauty. I love it.

Congrats Steve - that's a beauty! You mentioned in another post that you had to do a lot of ringing around trying to find an AD with this - just curious as to whether that was because they were sold out or because the ADs weren't being sent stock at all?Thermexman wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:56 pmThe 62Mas it is then. As nice as the Willard is, I still think the Turtle looks better.
Having said that, the new King Turtles with ceramic bezels are even nicer.

One big jewellery chain that I spoke to, only thought that they might be able to get me one if I was to attend a branch, in person, to pay upfront. They never got back to me with confirmation that they could actually order one and being as the nearest branch is 75 miles away...Ringing the actual branch, just had them say “pop in and we’ll see what we can do”.
Other answers ranged from “it’s not out yet”, “out of stock”, “archived”, “unavailable”, “we’ll email you when we get one in” (still waiting).
A couple of “leave it with us” promises are still hanging in the air...
An email to Seiko UK didn’t get a reply!
Someone on FB told me they aren’t hard to find but didn’t elaborate!
Maybe I didn’t try hard enough?
Steve.

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
