What an excellent purchase Gary. I think the case design is wonderful and fluid, as if it has been moulded.

That you did your research after you first saw one is fine. What worries me is that it was the purchase of a Cartier for your wife that spured your interest.

With the bracelet length do you think Cartier are actively discouraging gentlemen with larger wrists, like me, from buying one or is it a nice little earner to sell additional links?

Finally, I think the crown design is fabulous; so streamlined and, presumably, tactile.

Enjoy wearing it and maybe, just maybe, you'll get to go on a cruise one day and have a royal opportunity to wear it.

Guy

My oldest daughter came over today, tried it on then tried to convince me that it fit her wrist perfectly. I was having none of it.
My wife then tried it on and told me that she'd like the 35mm version...

I don't yet know whether they charge for additional links. With some brands, extra links are complimentary, I'm hoping Cartier is one of them. If so, it probably saves them money overall. Not much for a few links saved, but some...
Of course if they charge for them, it's an even bigger earner...

Thanks Lance. The holiday was about 170 days shorter than planned, but I got something more than a dumb t-shirt! :)

I can see the logic there. How many times does a new owner take out 2 or 3 links, for them never to be used again. :-k

Sorry for the slow response Om, missed this. The blue thing is the ubiquitous Cartier sapphire, the chunky bit that it’s mounted in, is the crown.
