Well, yes, it is 'Minty'...

Post by Thunder1 »

A new addition to the herd for moi..it's the Momotaro Jeans edition of the Oris Divers 65 BB...while I was interested in the mint green dial color, I wasn't so much for the dark navy blue Momotaro jeans strap...so I switched it out for the Oris bi-color bracelet..so far, so good(and it is minty!!)..here's a couple of pics..

That's rather alluring and the bicolour bracelet suits it handsomely.

Prefer it to the honey variant too.

Enjoy wearing it over the weekend.

Nice new addition Chuck, you do like an Oris 65 (rightly so!).

I approve of the bi-colour bracelet as I would like to get a bi-colour watch myself in the future, although not for my next watch as I already have a target in my sights for that :)

I do like Oris’ dial colours, and that green is cool.

Congrats, lovely colour and the 65 is very cool. Have to say i much prefer it to the CW equivalent. Ok maybe i shouldn't have said that out loud on here.

I do like this watch and have been tempted by oris bronze offerings

I initially put my name down for the solid bronze oris, hoping that the bracelet had some sort of inner coating so it would not mark my wrist. When I realised it did not I cancelled my order.

I may well go for one of these mint versions or wait for a second hand one.

minty goodness - I love the colour.
I think that watchmakers are a bit conservative when it comes to colours on the dial. Navy Blue or black or white.
Course, while I'm writing that I have to accept that 'other' colours are often used on 'ladies' watches.
Then of course I remember that CW have used loads of colours in their palettes, and there are plenty of amazing watches in NCWOTD thread.

OK - I'll stop. I celebrate colourful watches. :D
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Blasphemy! I think the Oris and CW 65's can co-exist. I recall Chuck recently acquired a CW 65 Ombre to add to his stable of Oris 65's. I admire the Oris but having bought a 65 Ombre myself about 6 months ago I must say I am happy with it and it fully scratches the 65 itch (if that is even a thing  ).

That would be telling Chuck! I'll know if it really is at the top of the list once I've tried one on next week.
