Went For Pearls, Came Home With An Omega

Post by malvern_man »

I went into town this morning to buy the wife some pearls for our upcoming pearl wedding anniversary and was offered a very good deal on a new Speedmaster Mk II.

Erm…..I came home with both, I got a good discount on the pearls too

Great morning's work and a very nice Speedy, I like the vintage appeal of that model.

You deserve an anniversary present too, so good that both you and your wife are getting something special

I like these kind of stories, wicked indulgence even if well deserved.

My wife knew a couple who had decided to buy a new kitchen. On the way to pay for it, one fine Saturday morning, the husband got a little diverted (both spatially and financially) and came home with a Harley-Davidson instead. As you do...
