Sorry but I just see a Kermit clone, albeit much more in reach.

. . and the case back seems to be standard Steinhart engraved which, when I had and Ocean GMT Pepsi, I found the edges sharp and rubbed on my wrist.

Not for me I'm afraid; although I plead to have taken into consideration the ownership of a Tissel 'Hulk'

If this appears as a 39 I am going to try it - the flat case of the Steinharts make them too big for comfort @ 42mm but I think a smaller version would fit nicely.

I regret not buying the green bezel Trident during it's brief lifespan.

I know it's an LV clone but at the money I could wear it as an 'everyday' and not worry about damage, especially with a ceramic bezel. I do actually prefer the look of aluminium but the bullet proof nature of my Tridents has convinced me that ceramic is the way to go for a worry free everyday watch.

Much as I would love the genuine item (and I am still allegedly on 'the list') I fear it would simply become another box dweller making rare appearances in ultra safe environments! And, with our new rural life, that is pretty much limited to an hour on the sofa watching TV of an evening, so pretty pointless.

Cheers,

Paul

Paul, I can wear 42mm watches from most makes, but like you I found the 42mm Steinharts to be a little too long without the hint of a downward curve to the lugs. I’m happy to report that I find the 39mm versions to be quite comfortable however.

Thank you for the info, it's a really useful metric as your Speedmaster 2 was a perfect fit without any bracelet adjustment.

Cheers,

Pennies for completely unnecessary elective spending are in short supply at the moment as I have recently spent a few thousand on my tractor and am currently upgrading one of our holiday cottages ready for the new season, so this is soaking up the spare cash.

Plus SWMBO has been dropping rather large hints that she would like a menage installed in the top field ( I refer you to a previous post of mine about the cost of wives with an interest in horses!!).

However........we are on the brink of completing on the sale of some land in Kent from our previous life so when this happens I may well get one. If it lives up to expectations then one or both of my Tridents will go to balance the books.

Pictures here if (when!) It happens.

Cheers,

Paul
