New Omega Bond watch
What are people’s views on this ?
I like the look but the price seems excessive. I’m not even sure it is a le.

Re: New Omega Bond watch
Very nice, not sure about the mesh and the price is high (RRP £7,390 in the UK) albeit it is Ti (including the mesh bracelet).

Re: New Omega Bond watch
I don't think it's an LE. It's a nice watch but doesn't tempt me. I have a Ref 210 SeaMaster already. The vintage lume and no date put me off. Now, if Omega were to make a white dial blue bezel version that would be a different story.

Re: New Omega Bond watch
Bracelet doesn't suit the watch, and the fauxtina doesn't look good at all. I'm really liking the no-date dial though.

Re: New Omega Bond watch
Bracelet looks pretty crap and it is almost twice the price of a standard version on the better looking bracelet.

The bond fanboys will love it, but for everyone else it seems overpriced and over styled.

Re: New Omega Bond watch
In a world with common sense it would be hard to choose this vintage tinted dive watch over the excellent vintage tinted BB58 for roughly three x the folding although it is quite a good looking piece.

If it's got a laser beam and a grapple hook built in then they can take my money. I'm afraid I'm out otherwise.

Re: New Omega Bond watch
Put it on a Bond NATO and it will be fine.
Mind you, you'll then have an expensive titanium mesh bracelet sat doing nothing. : problem:

Re: New Omega Bond watch
I love mesh bracelets but this looks a bit aftermarket (which is fine if you stick a Staib on a C60)... Its attractive but maybe trying a bit hard and £ vs value is not great. Can think of 2 amazing watches you could have for the same overall investment and one is a diver..

If I was a polite Canadian like Lance, then I would say the same. As I'm not a polite Canadian, I'll feel unencumbered in stating that I think it's grim. Omega are never going to top the Skyfall Aqua Terra as a Bond watch, so they may as well stop trying. I may be slightly biased in this statement.
