Giorgio Galli S1 Automatic - Timex

Post by jtc »

https://wornandwound.com/introducing-th ... rom-timex/

Watch design at Timex [...] is headquartered in Italy, and run by Giorgio Galli, a designer [...] whose Giorgio Galli Design Lab was bought by Timex 10 years ago, creating a tight relationship with the ubiquitous American brand. Now, for the first time, Galli has put his name on a watch for Timex, and it’s quite unlike anything the brand has released recently, and underscores the versatility and skill Galli possesses as a designer.

I like the case design, but not the ruby on the dial.

I agree about the ruby. If you read the ablogtowatch review then you'll see that Ariel Adams is fond of itsince it was his idea. I prefer the negative space that omitting the ruby would have left.
