Dan Henry new releases

Post by Ttf23 » Fri Oct 18, 2019 9:36 am

Just received an email from Dan Henry talking about the wind-up watch fair in New York on 25 to 27 Oct.

“This year I have much to show and discuss. We will release a new model that has been a frequent request among our collectors: a two sub-dials 1964 chronograph that will be available for sale at the fair.
We will also show an upgraded 1970 Automatic Diver, which will be ready to ship worldwide in November.”

I’m interested to see what the upgraded diver looks like - been close to buying the old version a couple of times.

I also got that. There were some hints a while back about a blue dial version.

The orange ones have been sold out for sometime, in both sizes. There are stories of them allegedly selling on eBay at a premium... I really like mine, it would be ironic if it’s my only watch that appreciates in value.

I've seen them listed for 500- 700ish in both $ & £.
not watched that close to see if they sold at that and £200 seems to be more of a common price, but they certainly seen to hold value well
So many watches, yet still so little time!

Looks like a blue 1970 diver and some new bi-compax chrono’s (spotted on Instagram story from windup watch fair).

Interesting that there’s a non-date option.

Also the lume looks improved (probably couldn’t be any worse TBH...) I wonder if he’ll sell me a set of hands to retro fit to my orange 40mm :-k

:D Postie visited yesterday. First impressions positive - quality not up to the CW standards, but not bad nonetheless and cracking value.
