Hint 2: this has an acrylic crystal.

This thread didn’t pick up lol. It’s a Certina DS (“double security”) PH200m (2018 re-issue). I’ll post a review after a while. Love the hesalite crystal.

Very nice, Om. I really like the bracelet.

Incoming - Certina 2018 re-issue

Haha, well I couldn’t comment since you spilled the beans yesterday. :)

The reissue is rather well done ; apart from an additional 2mm of case size, it’s quite a faithful rendition of the original - complete with the classic Certina diver’s turtle case back that Om has shown and a *hesalite* crystal ... yes they call it hesalite.

I guess since the modern Certinas are part of the Swatch group along with Omega they can use the term hesalite instead of saying acrylic... Regardless, the acrylic is great, looks really nice and has much less reflection than a typical box domed sapphire crystal...

I agree.

I’d be interested to know which 20mm fitting that is for (if you know)? I’m assuming that it’s not OEM - as far as I know the PH200M is not available on a bracelet, or at least it wasn’t when I bought mine around a year ago.

That's cool Om and I really like the Beads of Rice (?) bracelet together with an authentic acrylic crystal.

The whole genre of Vintage Diver has got a lot to offer and is an area I'm getting interested in. To wit the purchase of a Q Timex Reissue.

Timex Q looks great Guy. I personally really like a good vintage re-issue (probably starting back from the time when I had a Black Bay), and I think the Certina is excellent value for money.

Gary, this is a Geckota beads of rice bracelet, came with the watch from the original owner. It fits relatively well for not being OEM.
