This thread made me think back to trying out a Batman, thread below, amongst a few other watches one day last year.

Point was though that the pre-owned BLNR was about £9k which I thought was expensive, but now other shops in town with similar models are selling them at about £13-14k, crazy really and I wouldn't buy at the price, although some people do :?

I can't answer the specific OP question, however, from 2018 to 2019 (iirc announcing an increase in RRP prices at the end of the year to take effect at the beginning of the year) ROLEX increased their prices by @5%.

The June 2012 price list is interesting. :)

UK RRP remained at the same level all the way through until 31 October 2016.

10% increase from 1 November 2016, followed by 5% from 1 October 2018.

Many luxury brands have had far bigger increases over the past 7 years.

My explorer 2 from 2007 still has the original price tag with it. I think it was £2900 give or take. I had to pay pretty much exactly double that 12 years later

Seems like the prices moved quite a bit from the 2009 to 2010 list above.

Rob, are you sure you aren’t comparing the 2009 to the 2012 lists above, explains better the increase.
