Oris - You got into Oris because of their relationship with the Williams F1 team but now you wish you'd bought a TW Steel instead.
TW Steel? Who he?
Totally straight faced and ignoring all humour potential... TW Steel sponsor Renault F1

Bell & Ross are now sponsoring Renault F1. If TW Steel are still sponsoring them they are hiding it well, Probably like most of the owners

Let me just savour this:
"Christopher Ward: You can’t afford to spend more than $1K on a watch. You’ve come to actually love your Trident. Secretly, you think the new logo makes your watch look like a toy."
"Omega: You are intimately familiar with all 12 Apollo missions. You eagerly anticipate the next James Bond film. You refer to your Seamaster as “the thinking man’s Sub, with a better movement”. Bonus points if you know who George Daniels is."

Aye, close enough, contradictions and all. hahahaha!

Late to the party here, very amusing and enough observation to make you shift slightly uncomfortably in your seat whilst glancing at whatever brand you happen to be wearing.

"Longines: You just got your first job out of college. You are looking for something classy and professional to go along with your first real suit. You will one day own a JLC."

this is Hilarious... when i got my first proper job, I did buy a longines and this week i DID put a deposit down on a JLC.

Terrifyingly accurate

I’m glad this post was brought back up, I hadn’t seen it before! Made me lol. For those that have seen me post my Shinola in the NCWOTD thread, I am indeed an oddly proud Detroit native

I would love to add another subclass to the Rolex definition:

OK, you have folding. Invariably you know nothing about watches, nor do you care, 'it's a Rolex mate, innit!' You might be a footballer, a hairdresser and/or possibly reside in Essex. You think an AD is a German car with a couple of letters missing from its name.

No offence meant to the genuine Rolex folk...
