Thankyou to all for the congratulatory messages! Spent a good hour last night looking at strap options.....trickier as I need an XL strap.
I have a 125 x 75 (95 incl. buckle) - could see where I got it from if that size is good

Please! That would be extremely helpful. Minimal eBay and Amazon selection in a Long 22mm/20mm strap. Looking like I’ll have to order one of the nice ones from Aaron Bespoke straps out of Montreal.
Pretty sure the one pictured above is the Khaki colour version from eBay item #282776987853.
Also spotted eBay item #254248615747.

The 512 (or in this case my almost identical 630) looks fabulous on alligator Lance...

Have a look at Mansarea who are in Malaga, Spain.

Lots of Panerai style straps and available in XL. 130/80mm.

Alternatively, Martu in Chile do XL, longer at 135/85mm or even 140/90mm.

Just splashed out for an OEM Panerai brown assolutamente strap. I think it suits the watch really well

Looks rather splendid Patrick.

Dare say you did have to splash out a bit for it. Worth it though, I'm sure.

Thanks Guy. Unfortunately, you're not a proper Paneristi if you don't spend a fortune acquiring a shedload of straps for your timepiece

That looks fantastic Patrick!! I too would love to grab one of those but they are pricey and I need a Long tricky to find except via special order.

Thanks Lance. Yes they are quite hard to find pre-owned especially in the 22mm size and XL. Your best bet might be one of the quality strap makers who specialise in Panerai such as Mansarea or Martu who have some very nice leather straps.

The blue looks excellent on your 512 btw

Happen to be wearing my 620 today (same size and general appearance as the 512, but with a micro-rotor 3 day automatic inside). For a change, I decided to go for a more traditional Panerai look with a thick stitched leather strap in place of the more elegant looking alligator that I usually wear it on.

Congrats on getting the 512 Lance. Great choice. It was also my choice. I went for a light brown Eulit strap, which I like a lot as it resembles the Panerai Assolutamente strap.
