Look familiar

Post by Thegreyman »

Away with work, sitting bored in my hotel room and deciding what to watch on TV, I noticed the shopping channel Ideal World has a "Timepieces" programme on at the moment.

The usual array of spectacularly gaudy objects for sale, but this one caught my eye for hopefully obvious reasons (it's a CW of sorts).

I'm assuming the real CW have no copyright over their original logo.

Good spot Patrick.

Last time we had a topic with Constantin Weisz was here in 2013.

There were several prior to this in 2012 going back to 2010. Common theme was a Shopping Channel.

One might speculate that this was one of the reasons behind CW moving from their initial logo, which has a very close resemblance to Constantin Weisz's logo, to the V_2 logo of Chr.Ward.

^^^thanks for the info Guy, first time I’ve seen the other CW...think I prefer the Christopher Ward to the Constantin Weiss. If I ever change that, please shoot me.

Some interesting reading in the Search Results, Patrick and, don't worry, I'm sure that resorting to extreme measures will not be necessary.
