A first for me without a Cyclops and date in a different location than normal too. Feels much lighter but isn't massively different. Liking the contrasting case and bracelet colour. Loving the blue half bezel and dial highlights in certain lights

Good purchase, I like it. Well I I would I guess, I own one.

When I got mine, I wasn’t overly keen on the different case and bracelet tones, so I put it on a strap. It seems to be a common complaint about the titanium Steinharts. More recently I’ve tried the bracelet again and found that they matched much better than when it was new.

I figure that the case must have been newer than the bracelet and has had a chance to age (darken) a bit, which does happen noticeably with certain grades of uncoated titanium. It’s a slower process than for example when bronze patina develops. The ageing is a very light type of patina that, to quote Monty Python, is wafer thin... but it forms a very thin protective layer. It’s also the reason why faint surface scratches on titanium seem to ‘heal’ with time.

The offshoot of all that is that the case is now quite similar to the bracelet in colour, so putting the bracelet back on was fine, something not true a year or two ago. I love mine, hope you’ll get good usage out of yours...

Very nice that, Jos. I was looking at one of the Steinhart GMT watches before getting my C60. Enjoy.

Obviously a mega homage but it certainly looks good and very well made. It has the lightness of Titanium and the absence of a cyclops as advantages over its inspiration....not to mention the price and availability of course.

Like all steinharts itis a hell of a lotof watch for the money. Where this one does so well is that it isn’t a straight rolex rip off and allthe better for it. Congratulations and enjoy this one. Great choice.

Steinharts offer good quality/price. I find however that my Tridents are a step up in quality and finish perception over my Steinharts. But then thry cost more too. And they have more character as well.
