This looks pretty good at this price.

That’s a nice looking watch for the money, Brian. Has a bit of the Royal Oak or Laureato about it without being a slavish copy.

Yes Steve it does, I spoke to someone on holiday this year who was wearing a Royal Oak. Looked amazing on his wrist. First one I’ve seen in real life.

I’m thinking of taking the plunge on this COSC model. Will be my first kick starter if I do.

I do like that, in fact everything about it. The design, the spec, the price even the strap looks great.

Just had a try using AVOs instructions.

Thanks Steve. By the way!, I’ve taken the plunge.

That looks rather good.

A decent price, well very decent for the non COSC version.

Very nice- I've plumped for the COSC too. Note the faces are different between the chronometer and basic auto- the horizontal lines in the chronometer version does seem to add a little interest.

Josh at Watchitallabout.com rates Formex quite highly.

Has a couple of reviews here including a code for 10% off purchases via Formex's website.

Guess this won't apply to the new release on Kickstarter.

The brand sounds too much like Foamex, and after many years working as a sign maker in my youth, that just doesn’t appeal to me.

Plus the watch looks a bit meh anyway, and at 43mm definitely one I’ll be giving a miss.

The blue face with horizontal stripes and the 6 o’clock date on the COSC model are reminiscent of the latest Omega Aqua Terra, which I think is very attractive.

Formex have an app that lets you see what each of their watches would look like on your wrist.

First you have to print out and cut a paper strap. Then put on wrist, select watch in app then hold under camera. And you can take a photo of watch on your wrist.

Looks pretty cool. A bit of fun yes, but surprisingly effective.

If CW did this, it would help those customers pondering whether a 43mm or a 38mm C60 Trident is a better fit.
