Disappointed in Justin Rose, who learned his trade just up the road from me, being a Hublot man!

I can see which sport Rolex spends a large chunk of their ambassadorial advertising budget on.

No wonder there's a worldwide shortage of steel sports Rolexes ;)

No one has ever given me so much as A Timex for playing golf. I wonder if it is the level of my game.....

On a number of occasions, after topping the ball about twenty yards into the rough and trying to find it for a couple of minutes, I have looked back to the tee to see the following group of players tapping their watches. Do you think they were interested in what I had on my wrist or were they encouraging me to view their models? :problem:

That's as good a prediction as any. I think it's very tough to call, so many candidates. Got to think that Thomas and Spieth will be there or thereabouts too but their odds will be short.

Think I might back the only Scotsman in the field...Sandy Lyle

Some interesting watches, though the writing was slightly below-par.

I think you've got it down to a tee :)

It's a fair way to assess the article
