Tank, DBR1, C3 Mk1, C1 Russell, vintage Omega, Enicar, Kon-Tiki. My mum bought the last two, non-negotiable.

I think for me it's not too hard, just have to knock one proper one off:

1. Vintage Sub
2. Explorer ii
3. Oyster perpetual
4. Speedie moonwatch
5. Omega great white GMT

And I'll lose the Quartz bond SMP

All interesting choices... but the idea of just having five watches is preposterous! :) So far I'm really enjoying my CW C60 Trident GMT 38 and recently acquired C60 Trident Vintage 38... at least one of them is a keeper, just don't know how I could decide which one. Guess I'll just keep both!

I am currently down to five, having recently sold off numerous watches which were not getting worn. So, for me, an easy choice. Five seems to be the magic number for me. Every watch is currenlty getting plenty of wear, although I am considering a new white faced dress watch.

See, you've got to do it by categories! Tricky to decide though, but my 5 would probably be:

Diver: Rolex Sea Dweller (own)
Sports: Omega Aqua Terra Skyfall (own)
Dress: Grand Seiko Snowflake Spring Drive
Dark Chronograph: Omega Speedmaster Pro (own)
Light Chronograph: Zenith El Primero 1969 38mm

That would also give a nice selection of dial colours too, which I like to have (i.e. black, blue, white, black, silver).

As I already have 3 of the 5, this is making me wonder why I am currently chasing some of my targets and the not the missing 2! I suppose it is because I'm not sure I could live with only 5 watches, but I will give this some more thought! :-k

Edit: I've just realised that I share 3 on my list with watchstudent above! Great minds and all that...

Yes, I'd just made an "edit" observation on this while you were posting. Good taste indeed! :)

pretty much a faultless 5 and you're well on the way to achieving it
