Bulova moon watch

Post by kevin_b1 »

We walked to town today for some exercise and breakfast then have a look round the shops.
Oh dear I appear to have purchased a Bulova moon watch, photos will be shown when I get home.

Price in shop £579 purchase price £399 it pays to haggle plus have the internet on your phone.

Size is 45mm but appears smaller than the CW 43mm looks really nice bit of moon history for 10% of the Omega history.

Ernest Jones in Westgate?

If so I looked at the Moonwatch a few weeks ago. Had a nice, smart young man wearing a PO look after me.

Did you try on the curved case Bulova?

Hi Guy
Exactly the same person served me, here is a photo from the shop.

I tried the curve on but was not as taken with it, plus I have read about issues with no other straps fit due to the curve on it.

I've been looking at the Bulova Moonwatch here in Florida - offered for $400. Tempted but so far, I've resisted.

I have the same reservations, but I did find out there are some, lower end, curved case watches that have normal lugs and strap fittings.

Just realised / seen that you've sold your Breitling Aerospace during the last few days.

I'd been wondering how you'd been able to acquire the Bulova without incurring the wrath of SWMBO.

You know me so well always avoid the wrath where at all possible. Have to say very pleased with it nice and comfortable and sits very well on the wrist and at that price it's almost a steal.

It's a great watch and I just got one on Friday too! The added date on the Moon Watch made it more appealing than the Curv versions.

You can get the one on the leather strap and fabric strap for $287 (GBP 230) from Amazon. With some of the Black Friday Sales, they went below $250 on some other websites.

I only resisted so far because of the 45mm size. Does anyone have a picture to share next to a 43mm C60 Trident Pro and compare the weight/feel on the wrist?

That's a great price. Really like the look of this but the size puts me off.

Kevin great watch to add to your collection. What size is your wrist?

Good to know. If I enter into negotiations I now know the target.
