Yes without the Ultraman connection the box would undoubtedly be nicer also.sproughton wrote: ↑Wed Jan 30, 2019 6:47 pmThat was my thought process too. Looks like they're getting sent out quite a lot quicker than the ST1 so there's probably a bit less fanfare/excitement as they're popping up regularly.
Personally I think it's a brilliant looking watch, which without the Ultraman link and the LE price tag would be an incredibly successful model.

^^^ I agree. I think the Ultraman link does nothing to enhance what is otherwise a very nice watch.

I've thought about getting one of these in the past. It's a recurring dream.

You've got the regular, non GMT, version. Haven't you?atnits wrote:I've thought about getting one of these in the past. It's a recurring dream.
Trusting so, a most equitable trade up.

Yes, I have. It would be a good trade up, for sure.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 8:28 pmYou've got the regular, non GMT, version. Haven't you?atnits wrote:I've thought about getting one of these in the past. It's a recurring dream.

Not sure of which dial colour I'd go for though: cream, black or blue.

They are all fantastic dial colours (that picture doesn't do justice to the 'Breitling Blue' dial I don't think). Go with whichever fits in with the rest of your collection. They all look good

I intended to post a picture of this red Grand Seiko myself yesterday - the Urushi lacquer dial is simply stunning.
This will sound strange but when I went looking for the price I was delighted to know that it was so expensive that I could stop thinking about what I could sell it’s more than whole lot !

Thinking of adding one of these this year, in 36 mm
If rumers are correct and it's going to finally
Get an in-house movement and the text is straightened it could be a tough choice as to which to go for.

Re: The
Oooh - I didn't realise an in-house movement is on the cards for this watch! That'll be v tempting indeed.
Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Nothing confirmed yet but it is the only black bay left with the ETA movement. So in house could be on the cards
