Nice, it I’m sure is essentially the identical watch as this one below, I had one on my wrist in the past hour. I like a lot but it’s a hefty purchase so needs a lot more consideration.

You’re determined to go down the ‘grow old quick’ route of two tone aren’t you, Patrick

Either the 36mm Club with sapphire back:

Or the 35mm Orion:

I love the Club, but am thinking the Orion might be sweeter on the wrist.

Any thoughts, chaps?

Orion, but only on a day that ends with a Y.

A watch for grown-ups.

In comparison the Club looks like something you’d teach the kids to tell the time on.

Unfortunately Chris, I don't think I can resist the lure of the two tone, try as I might, so you are probably right

At least I'm not looking at all gold.....yet!

Edit: Just to confirm I was nowhere in the vicinity of Blenheim Palace yesterday

Think you could for about the price of used Nomos club. The black dial explorer style model looks good as well

I really like this, but it seems like the hour hand is too short and the minute hand is too long.

I agree, but I also find the hand's too overbearing compared to the rest of the watch. I think something more subtle was needed.

Just saw this on Jura's twitter feed with a link to a review. Very nice, but do not have the spare cash (sadly)

I've looked at that one a few times, it's a beauty. Fantastic looking watch, theres nothing I can find to fault on it.

^^^ That, in burgundy, now I've read up about it. Seems the burgundy and purple still haven't landed at the dealers yet though.
