But you only have to look at the date once a day to know what it is.albionphoto wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2019 5:12 pmI have one. In fact I'm wearing it now. It is as lovely as it looks. The only downside is that it is much harder to read the date than this photo would suggest.Danbailey007 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:05 pm Still dreaming of this.

Heuer Autavia 02 is causing me fizzy moments; combination of subdial chrono, 12-hour insert for second time zone and reverse panda colour scheme. The question is what to flip? Omega Schumacher? A Brellum? Some smaller fish?

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
Indeed Chris.
I began the groundwork with Mrs SU last night when we were discussing plastics in the ocean. Guess who started that
She mentioned some project she had seen that aims to filter plastics using tides/currents.
Me: "There's this watch I really like and some of the proceeds go towards a project that is trying to clean up our oceans".
She appeared intrigued, so I showed her a pic of the Oris endorsed project.
Mrs SU: "That's the one I was talking about"
At this point I was bouncing inside, so I went on to show her the watch which was met with a positive response, especially when I told her it was cheaper than her guesstimate of 2k.
I've left it at that for now not wanting to push my luck, but I plan to play the LE card next ...
"If I don't buy soon, I may miss out".
Of course, it could all go tits up and I'll have to settle for a standard blue or green

Omg! Someone has some great skills at creative "persuasiveness"! May have to use that trick! Nicely done. I have that watch on my list as well. They are taking deposits as we speak. I found a dealer offering 15% off. So tempted...

Or if you don't, please share with me!
There would have to be a 15-20% discount on the table for me to go for this LE.
If not, then I'll eventually settle on one of the standard colours.

Especially if it brings the price closer to £1500 than £1800!

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
So, that’d make it £1530. Knowing how fantastic my Staghorn LE is, if I was in the market now I’d be buying that. So, go for it - both of you
