This...got from Germany to Norfolk in 48 hours and has spent 5 days trying to cover 15 miles, thanks to global ****-up over delivery address by (one or more of) 3 companies!

"Hopefully" now arriving tomorrow. Bunny not happy.

The half minute which we daily devote to the winding-up of our watches is an exertion of labour almost insensible; yet, by the aid of a few wheels, its effect is spread over the whole twenty-four hours.

I'm sorry Steve but this made me chuckle. Only because it reminded me of a time that a package reached me from Dubai in 23 hours and at the same time it took my work 14 days to take a box up two flights of stairs.

"Small fry" compared to some in this thread but this one has my attention. Currently a 43mm which is too much for my skinny wrist but they're saying a 39mm is currently in the works for release 4th quarter. Dead keen.

^^^^^very nice. Looks like quite a flawless design blend of an Aqua Terra and a Royal Oak.

Yeah. In other colour-ways even more so. Somehow some Nautilus as well. I guess nearly everything has similarities somewhere or other, but this is its own thing I think.
Has the COSC SW200 familiar at CW. There are things that just grab you and this one grabbed me.

This Omega Seamaster is well beyond what I've ever spent on a watch, but this thread asked about dreams so...

I’ve admired the various green Mosers for some time, but the Bucherer is gorgeous too. Historically, they’ve had some interesting stuff over the decades; this is no exception, with some interesting complications...

The Bucherer also has an amazing movement in this case, with a peripheral rotor!

Peripheral rotor....not exactly sure who first developed it, possibly Carl Bucherer, or when, but one of the best developments in recent history imo. Also being used by VC and Bulgari.

Not sure if it was the first, but Citizen had one in the sixties and seventies - the Jet. A friend of mine owned one, which is how I first heard about them. He said that the winding wasn’t as efficient as a conventional rotor and it would often require “topping up” with a few hand winds daily.

Edit: an additional photo and an info link. Also, they were made only in the sixties, not the seventies as I originally stated.
