Mine would have been a Timex or Ingersol around 1962.

Sorry to be a little late to the party.

Without going through family photos to confirm, this Timex Color Flicks is among the first I remember...and still own. A little beat up, but still tickin.

I had some kind of hand-wound Timex - mid 70s this would have been. I think I'd appreciate it more now than I did then! After that a series of crappy digitals that kept breaking down, until I went Casio.

First proper watch was a lovely, blue-faced, super-skinny Rotary. Sadly the strap broke one day - the watch was so light that I didn't notice it had fallen off my wrist until it was too late :-(

Actually I'm not embarrassed by that, I bloody loved that watch

A guy I went to school with had that, he set it to work with the tv they used to wheel into class when we had a video to watch.

The teachers never figured out why the tv kept muting or switching off only when it was our class using it.

Mickey Mouse one that my grandfather bought me. Sadly, it was lost at some point
