Interesting. Skoda were looked on as cr*p but now they are seen as good cars and the badge snobbery thing has receeded. Same with Hyunai and Kia - all now seen as really reliable and a worthwhile choice if brand snobbery is not important to you. I wonder if that will happen with Chinese watches? They're bound to improve over time and they're good at copying; at the end of the day any watch is just a variation on a theme. As materials improve and the movements get more reliable they should take off.

I think the second one down looks pretty neat. :) Not sure I'd buy it though... :lol:

Someone on this forum said not to knock Chinese watches because they may better than you may think. There seems to be a universal thought that anything exported from China is junk! But whose junk, China’s or the Manufacturer who employ Chinese factories to save cost. I’ve seen many Chinese mechanicals and auto movements in watches costing less than half the price of a CW. If China can replicate brand name watches as well as they do they can produce something of true quality. They have the technology. The problem may be the name they’ve made for themselves.

Good beaters. I do like the second and fourth models.......quite nice.
