C9 Harrison update
Even considering the quality of these photos, I must admit that these look really great to me. Note that I have included the C90 as well which will be known as the C90 Beckett. It looks like CW has drifted back to his more classical roots.

I don't think you will be the only one weeping at the bank account. Although I am sure not everyone will like these, I do think that this series is something that will be a classic line for years to come much like the C5.
I have been looking at these for several hours now and just keep going back to look again. I am very impressed.

Re: C9 Harrison update
Interesting....
I know Chris hadn't decided to do the C90 initially....there was a prototype at the GTG which i quite liked. I know i had asked Chris earlier in the year if they were going to do it and he had said yes so good news there. However,i hope those pictures aren't the final design because we did agree that the hands needed work (see below). The pictures from Kip look like the ones on the prototype which don't quite work..they need a slight redesign i think

Re: C9 Harrison update
I should clarify that these are updated drawings and not actual photos. That may explain the pushers an hands errors. I believe there were some errors on the original C9 drawings also.

Some very classy watches there. I just hope that the all black C90 from the pics of the GTG makes it into the final lineup.

Re: C9 Harrison update
Damn, these look even better than before - I am going to have to get one now
I agree with village about the awful hands on the C90... We all raised this at the GTG and I think Chris agreed that they needed to be more refined! And I want that all-black version, but CWL does tend to go for more eye-catching / blingy looks so I guess the one shown is likely to be the final design.
I also note that the, ahem, "swimmers" (attempts at the Thames) have gone. Probably for the best.
Any reason the power reserve is a C90 and the others C9s?

Haven't seen this before. I'm in love. It jumps straight to the top of the list of CW watches for me; that one's going to be a staple of lots of collections in the years to come.village wrote:Interesting....

Re: C9 Harrison update
The C90 Beckett's has an Eta Valgrange A07.161 movement which is a larger movement than the other Eta's being used, plus I believe it is tied to the racing theme somehow.Mortis wrote:Damn, these look even better than before - I am going to have to get one now
