Again, applaud the bold choice to go ahead with a watch like this, but man, there's a lot going on in that dial. Not for me, sadly. Maybe if the hands stood out against the face a bit more?

I like it, if all works as imagined, it will be a serious piece of engineering

Have to agree Peteo... Hopefully, the real-life version will have some great contrast between hands and dial - to allow the watch to fulfil it's primary function. I really admire the workmanship and detail on this watch, but if it ain't easy to read...

There is one problem with Moscow airport here :) Main international airport in Moscow is not DME (Domodedovo) , but SVO (Sheremet'evo) :) All I can say both DME and SVO are acceptable, same as VKO (Vnukovo) - main airport for government, but SVO is main one for tourists.
Watch out :)

I wondered about that. I've only been there once, but definitely used SVO.
Don't a lot of world timers use city names, not airport codes?
Nomos on the GMT+ uses a mix of 3-letter abbreviations (LON, BER, &c.) and a few airport codes such as PDL for the Azores and FEN for Eastern Brazil.

Bremont used airport codes for their military worldtimer. When they introduced the regular version, they changed to standard city names...

It's an interesting watch for certain, but I can't see myself ever wearing or owning such a 'novelty' watch.

I don't mean that to sound disparaging, but I've always found watches with faces that don't look like watches a bit polarising.

Maybe I'm a bit safe and boring!

Looks like a nice bit of engineering though.

It looks nice but I would need to see real world pictures before committing...

Bit of a "novelty" watch feel.

What I hadn't noticed in the chat reveal is the red dot on the map corresponding with the city text at twelve. Now I see it, it all becomes clearer and even more attractive. As I understand it then, if one flies to another city in a different time zone, one pulls out the crown to the appropriate position and sets the city text to the right city, setting the indicator dot and hour hand at the same time? I guess then that the 24 hr indicator stays at home time.

I like this (and I don't like many worldtimers)... but how thick is it going to be?

@ jmarchitect, that is what I think will be quite awesome, all that complications, yes might be novelty, however there is function and real usability in the novelty.

I think it looks fab, and am loving the mechanics behind it...
but it would be more use to me if they did a UK one...

London / Gloucestershire (about an hour or so behind) / West country (about a month behind) / Wales (couple of years behind) etc...

I don't fly very much...
