Wow, amazing collection of divers, particularly the Oris, Alpina, Trident and Seikos.
The one that cracks me up is that Oris Pro Diver, all 51mm of it. What a beast
If you have a bit of a purge, will you just reinvest in the same style, brands of watch or do you have anything different in mind?

Thanks Patrick and yes the Prodiver is crackers but I'm glad that I've had chance to experience it.
Consolidation is likely, but I think I still want to keep a 'few' and not just one or two nice watches.
Time will tell I guess - watch this space! (or sales corner)

It’s a great collection, Chris. Almost seems a shame to break it up.

Bloody hell, that is an amazing collection! Good sizes, good variation and nice to see the Oris and Alpine a variations.
A collection I would be proud to own myself! (And I shall keep an eye on sales corner with interest!!!)

Thank you all for your kind comments and over the coming months most will be sold on, hopefully to some forum members.
I collected this yesterday, which is the main reason for the consolidation...

A fantastic collection Chris !!
Some very cool watches there that I'd love to own myself.
Love the two Tridents - Orange Dial/Black Bezel and the rare Green Bezel GMT.
Congratulations on getting the Deep Sea

Go big or go home, they said. So he went BIG. Congrats on the DSSD, Chris!

Understand the consolidation Chris. Well done! No cyclops either, IIRC it’s the only date model without one.what-time-is-it wrote:Thank you all for your kind comments and over the coming months most will be sold on, hopefully to some forum members.

Wow, now we see the method in your madness Chris!
Congratulations on the Deep Sea, stonking watch and a mere 44mm compared to the Oris Pro Diver!

Re: what-time-is-it SOTC November 2018
Cheers guys, I'll add some proper photos when I get chance.
First impressions are it just feels right on the wrist. I know some think the deepsea is far too big, but for me it's smaller than many of my current pieces but not too small and has a nice weight to it.
The bracelet is lovely with easy to use micro adjustment and feels almost like it's titanium.
Lume appears to be average and not a surprise, but I've not subjected it to a black light or anything - I wasn't expecting Seiko lume and don't care.
Picked it up yesterday afternoon and checked it this morning and it's -0.5 seconds so not too shoddy.
I have a feeling that some of the watches that I currently own and intended to keep, may also go in time. I don't think I'll ever be a one person watch owner, but realistically I don't think I have aspirations to look for anything else, other than the blue version which was my original plan - but this watch and deal presented itself so it would've been rude to walk away from the opportunity.

Re: what-time-is-it SOTC November 2018
I may be wrong, but I believe the crystal is something like 5mm thick and due to the WR rating it's not commercially feasible to add the cyclops - personally I'm quite happy to do without.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.
