Baco Noir SOTC Nov 2018
Tried posting these in my intro thread but kept getting an error message saying the thread didn’t exist. So here’s most of the cut collection (sans a Seiko Monster and Mickey Mouse Timex Electric)
Re: Baco Noir SOTC Nov 2018
Awesome, you clearly know the style of watch you like. Maybe a A lange & sohne lange 1 for the more formal dressy occasions and your set.

Some cracking watches in your collection with my fave being the polar Explorer
Also interested in seeing how the BB bronze develops over time.

That's a heck of a welcome, and lovely collection
Now you just need a tiny, gold, vintage dress watch

Thanks. I’ve tried several dress watches and the ALS 1815 is one of my favorites but none have stuck around. After a while (weeks to months), I realize I just don’t dress up enough to justify them. If a watch isn’t getting worn, it gets flipped.r-macus wrote:Awesome, you clearly know the style of watch you like. Maybe a A lange & sohne lange 1 for the more formal dressy occasions and your set.

Thanks and yes, the polar is a favorite of mine too. I’ve tried to achieve diversity in my collection in form, function and brand. The one I’m raising money for now is the 2017 Heuer Autavia.StrappedUp wrote:Some cracking watches in your collection with my fave being the polar Explorer

My word that is an impressive collection! Some stunners in there, and particularly liking the Avenger???? (Assuming that's what it is!)

Wow, what a fantastic collection you have. If I had four of those watches, it would pretty much be my perfect collection, I’m very envious.

Thank you. It’s a collection that has taken a lot of time and trading up for to acquire.TPS10 wrote:Wow, what a fantastic collection you have. If I had four of those watches, it would pretty much be my perfect collection, I’m very envious.

That’s a lovely set of watches Roger, not one there that I wouldn’t be pleased to own myself. You can just slip the AP into a suitable box and post it off for me if you don’t mind. Failing that, the Tudor would do nicely.
