downer SOTC - August 2018

Post by downer »

My collection is pretty stable these days, so rather than repeat previous SOTC formats, I thought I'd present them as a series of postcards:

Wish you’d stop posting pictures of that blinkin’ Explorer, egad! :irre2:

Seriously fine postcards, old boy.

Fabulous collection, it's difficult to choose a favourite as there are so many class acts among them. If I was pushed, GS GMT and Polar Explorer are two I would pick perhaps.

Almost without exception*, lovely, just lovely Richard. Now, how about a nice yellow or orange dial?

*The Casio is my one and only exception. The fact that there’s only one speaks volumes for the quality of the others.

^^^ Gary, I’ve tried orange in the past, but it just does not suit my sunny disposition. :)

As for the g-shock, you are quite right. I very rarely wear it, so I may dispose of it soon - on the basis of one out, one in.
