Pipesmoker SOTC July 18

Post by Pipesmoker »

After a couple of years and 500+ posts I felt my first SOTC was overdue, so here you have it..
Image
The watch box
Image
C1 Grand Malvern Power Reserve, the watch that I named in the forum competition still gives me a buzz and with it's new blue strap getting much more wrist time, keeps time to less than -1sec a day.
Image
The Orange Crush
Image
Red and White Trident, the watch I wore on my wedding day
Image
C11 MSL
Image
The black Trident that started the collection
Image
C4 Phoenix
Image
C11 Ti Extreme, just back from repair and on the wrist, I missed this while it was away but it was worth the wait
Image
Seiko Samurai, an impulse purchase, love the lume
Image
G-Shock, kept at my caravan for use on the jet ski
Image
G-Shock World time
Image
I know many have strong feelings about fashion watches, especial Fossil, but I love the colour combo of this beater
Image
This Fossil is from so long ago I cant remember when, originally on a leather cuff the animated flames still bring a smile to my face
Image
Lastly the oldest in the collection, a Lorus Fusion that no longer fits my wrist but will always stay in the collection, for old times sake.

Thanks for looking
Andy

Lovely varied collection that looks to cover all bases, and ages of CW, including the obligatory G-shocks.

Glad to read that your MkI Trident was the start of it all. Its a classic.

Thanks chaps, I am really happy with what I have, I have my eye on a very special addition for my 50th in a couple of years but I could do with actually sticking to a self imposed moratorium in order to finance it, wish me luck!

The C4 is one of my favourite CWs, not seen often enough for me. I am constantly tempted by a samurai but not sure on the size, may be a shade too big for me. Thanks for sharing

I think they wear small on the wrist, if you are tempted then drop in somewhere and try one on, whats the worst that could happen??
