ChrisNLWatchfreak June 2018

Post by Chrisbannocks »

Hi all,

When I said hi in the introduction section I had requests to post the GT40 pictures, as well as some of the rest of my collection. This is my first attempt at following the instructions on posting pics so hopefully it goes well. I recognise there are not many of these watches in the world (40 in fact plus anything CW held back) so hopefully this is helpful.

If this has worked out well I will post more pics as soon as I can of the rest of the collection.

Enjoy!

3 superb CW's you have there Chris. I've previously admired the GT40 and we hardly see any so they are pretty rare. I have an Elite myself the C11 range is one of CW's best imo. The jump hour is a beautiful dress watch, I like how the gold contrasts with the white dial, very smart.

Hi Patrick,

Thank you, I have more to upload, but time is not allowing at the moment! Yes, I really like the C11 but I honestly dont wear it very much, I must change that! I really like the Jump Hour as a classic dress watch, I also have a C9 Harrison which is a nice understated dress watch also. My favourite daily watch is the brilliant C70 Limited Edition French Grand Prix 1906, I love the blue bezel and sporty looks!

I promise I will get to posting more of these amazing watches in time!

Excellent tight trio; covers all bases.

The C11 Makaira Elite is a favourite of mine, having owned one for several years (until I sold it to buy something else).

Hi Chris,

I actually have two of the watches you posted above, the C11 Titanium Elite and the Gold indices MK3 Jumping Hour.
Looking forward to seeing the other 3 CW's you own, the French C70 is a beauty. I own the Ascari version.
