Very interesting to see your collection Steve and I like how you neatly subdivided it.

My favourites are the CW MMXV FLE, the Speedy of course and actually all of that lovely octet of vintage pieces.

Great to see an update of your collection Steve.
You did appear to like CW Chronographs, all great versions too ;)

Your Tank and Speedy are just fabulous of course.

Always good to see a collection with stories behind a few of them. Even though you don’t wear them as much now, I still think they are a great bunch of varied vintage watches.

Picking one would be the Speedmaster.

Neil, I have decided to leave the Tank and the Speedy in the box for the next week while I am at home, and to wear all the vintages at some time.

I’ve a few vintage watches in my collection. I tend to wear them on special occasions, for example on my dad’s birthday.

I tend to wear them in the evenings, Richard. Having been to the gym, I am putting together a Cobb salad with some crusty bread and white wine, and I am wearing the 286.

^^^^ Stunning, I’m still looking for a 1957 Railmaster at the right price and condition.

Thanks, Kip. If the weather ever improves, and when it does, I fully intend this year to wear them much more often as the Panama season progresses! Last summer was totally dominated by the Dynamic Duo! :D

What a great varied collection you have there Steve
The one that really leapt out at me was the Marvin 1917 8)

I also think I need a Tank in my collection and I don't mean a Sherman!

Fabulous and varied collection Steve; some pieces of which I feel fortunate to have seen when you brought them to the London GTG a couple of years ago.

Glad to hear that you are intending to be more varied in your 'daily wear'.

Cheers chaps. @Strapmeister a few pics of the Marvin. Still keeps very good time. The picture by the local war memorial was taken on 4 August 2014.

Being an aficionado of straps, I’m sure you will know David Boettcher's excellent site, Vintage Watch Straps.

The Marvin is on one of his cognac straps.

Nice collection, Steve! Did you have a Nomos at some point, or does my memory fail me? After a long break, I might confuse you with some other forumite.

Jarkko, great to see you back!

Yes I did have a Nomos Tangente but after I acquired the Tank it wasn't getting worn. I did a trade with Kevin_b1 for his DBR1, but I'm pretty sure he sold it on.
