My Old Timer

Post by Huskyboy »

My old timer is a 18ct Gold Pocket Watch – With a maker’s mark CL - is hallmarked [t] for 1893
It has a Key wound Fusee mechanism and is in good working order
This is my special dress watch and although I only use it on high days and holidays with a short careful wind up it keeps time beautifully

Very smart.

The wooden hanging bracket almost makes it into a carriage clock.
