Martu Straps - Black Friday 2020

As in previous years Andrea @ Martu straps in Chile is doing 30% off for Black Friday.




For those that haven't heard of Martu Straps, and a reminder for those that have, they are great and extremely good value. Even better with 30% off.

Two pieces of advice;-

1. Andreas's Black Friday sale is so popular that she gets swamped with orders, which takes her time to make, and

2. Postage is by Chilean Air Mail which, with customs clearance into UK / USA et al, can take a couple of weeks or more to get to you.

My personal favourite is the Heavy Padded, which I see is now available in Donegal Tweed.

Lance, I'll leave that one as a surprise until Santa delivers it to me in a few weeks time as I haven't yet taken it out of the box or put it on and now in my wife's custody (I did try one on in the AD though)

Can anyone who has previously ordered a martu strap remember roughly when it arrived in the UK? I've just remembered that I ordered one this year!

I ordered a Martu wallet on Black Friday 2017 and it turned up on the 12th January 2018.

Patrick had the same wait as me if I recall correctly.

Well worth the wait.

I ordered one this Black Friday too (30 Nov), got a despatch email 23 Dec and it has yet to arrive. From past memory of my last order with them it took a number of weeks to reach me, which in fairness could be partly due to our UK customs.

In short, don't worry it will arrive....eventually

Tracking shows it as 'En tránsito - 30/12/2020' with;-

AEROPUERTO 30/12/2020. - 12:15 ENVIO DESPACHADO AL PAIS DE DESTINO

Which I take to mean, its on its way.

I don't recall receiving a dispatch notice, but my memory is shocking! Also, I asked for a 19mm custom strap, so that may take some time to make.

I just checked, for the first time, the tracking for my strap ordered on 30 November from Martu. Absolutely identical to yours Guy, to the minute, left on 30/12/20 at 01:15pm, must be on the same flight.

I've still received nothing, any joy for you (or missF)?

I checked mine yesterday.

No change to the above. Its left Chile but not arrived in UK.

Perhaps the flight went down in the Bermuda Triangle.
