Hi,
Hopefully this will be a quick and easy one for someone more skilled than i. I have a small CW 22mm leather strap with a buckle but would like to purchase a clasp that is currently in the for sale section. The clasp for sale is 20mm and i have attempted to measure my current strap and it does **appear** that it goes from 22mm down to 20mm however all i have to measure is a tape measure so it may not be an ideal science.
Please can i ask if any guru's out there either have a more advanced measure or can confirm that these CW straps do indeed taper very slight at the buckle? That way i can be absolutely sure the clasp would fit
Thanks in advance.
Dan

Re: Quick Question - strap size
As a rule CW straps taper by 2mm from lugs to clasp i.e. 22>20, 20>18.
There are a few exceptions of the 20mm buffalo strap, from the C10, which is straight, the High Density webbing straps of a few years ago which are, again, straight and the 24/26mm straps from the C13, C15 and C2/C20 that go to 20mm (I think).
As far as I know all current range straps follow the Rule.
Hope this helps.
