Mk1 bracelet on mk3

Post by Spectrearc »

Hi all, not sure where to post this but I'm in need of some help.

I recently purchased a 20mm bracelet off the nearly new section (I think it's a mark 1?) It has the word ward in a big c.

I can't seem to fit my mk 3 gmt on the bracelet, the springbars just won't depress sufficiently to engage into the lug holes.

Does anyone know if it fits or am I just wasting my time ?

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately I feel you have the wrong bracelet, as the bracelet for the Mk3 Tridents is a new design and will have the 'twin flag' logo on the clasp.

You will need one of these for your Mk3 GMT;- Bracelet for 38mm Mk3 or Bracelet for 40mm Mk3.

Ah well, was just trying my luck as customer service told me to try putting it on, wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong as I normally just leave stock bracelets on my other watches...

I guess I'll put it on a perlon ?

Hi TS, if you are thinking to offload the bracelet, perhaps I can take it off your hands.
I think my Trident C60 GMT (mk2) might be able to fit

It won’t fit. The case of the Pro and the 600 are completely different.

Beg to differ.

The bracelet from the Mk2 C60 Trident Pro 600 will fit the MkI C60 Trident Pro but the MkI bracelet will not fit the Mk2.

Neither will fit the Mk3 C60 Trident Pro 600 nor the other way around.
