Footycrazy straps
One of our old guard Footycrazy aka Graham has been dabbling for a little while with making and modifying straps. Initially just a hobby he has now started to take it more seriously and is looking to start selling a few as well. He is currently looking at upgrading his hole punch equipment to get that just so and he does all the stitching by hand. He has made a few 19mm straps for me to have a play with and the softness and flexibility of the leather is really nice. They feel like they are already worn in..
Here are a few pics and would be interested in which one you think goes best with the longines? Currently on the black as it is so soft and comfy
If any of you fancy trying one of Grahams handmade straps I am sure he will be most accommodating and well priced! Just send him a pm.

Re: Footycrazy straps
Having PM'd Graham late on Sunday evening, he got back to me on Monday morning, we sorted out some details on the strap I was interested in and it arrived this morning.footycrazy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:39 pm They all look good but the vintage tan looks great to me
Thanks for the plug.
Here is a few others i have made so far.
I've bought the croc grain 'Flieger' strap, 4th from the left in the above photo, and Graham sent it through with a polished pre-V buckle.
I'd been wondering which of my watches to try it on and remembered this morning whilst out walking my dog, that my Cream dial C8 MkI was sitting in a watch box without a strap on it. Perfect one to try it out on and I've switched over the buckle for a brushed pre-V, to blend it as best I can with the bead blasted case, and it looks FAB (pictures to follow).
The leather and general feel of the strap is wonderfully soft and supple. The soft red perforated leather underside was unexpected and adds a great luxury touch. I've got a few Steveo straps, admittedly from a few years ago, and its the one feature I feel always let his straps down in that the underside of the strap would be 'naked', leaving the sometimes slightly rough underside of the main strap leather.
On a quality / detail tack, I'm sure he knows, the buckle holes and stitching could do to be a whisker better aligned and evenly spaced; I'm being really picky with this and he is totally forgiven, as it is one of the first he has have made. I'm sure this sort of detail will improve as he goes along and get more practiced.
Overall, I'm very impressed and will likely get another strap or two from him in the not too distant future.
Top notch, Graham.

Re: Footycrazy straps
To follow up Guy's post there, I also received a strap from Graham today, a 20mm chestnut that is now sitting on my wrist and is a bit OMG on my Speedy Moonwatch.
Absolutely lovely feel to the strap, as Paul and Guy have said, beautiful supple leather, none of that new strap stiffness.
Pics and further comments to follow tomorrow.
Well done and thank you, Graham!

Its a surprisingly good match up and the underside of the strap in read, really sets it off.
A bit tricky to fit though as the strap is quite thick and, with standard (straight) spring bars, its all very tight up against the case.
I could really do with some curved spring bars to give a bit of clearance. Better get hunting.

Re: Footycrazy straps
A few pictures with my new chestnut strap from Graham on the Speedy. It is really comfortable to wear and fitted very easily using the Omega strap tool. I have to say I am so impressed with this and it will be staying on my Speedy until the summer when I will put it back on the bracelet.
