The omega Boutique even recommended I use a lighter to warm it up- I'd taken my speedy in as the screws were too tight for me to remove a link

When I was servicing watches in my former life, I would always use 222 on any screws that I removed on a bracelet.

I have seen way to many come in minus a screw or 2. Loctite 222 is easily softened with a hot water soak for a minute or a hair dryer if necessary, but not usually required.

Thank you all for the advice on using Loctite 222.
I bought a small bottle and I have now applied a tiny amount to the screws in my new bracelet. It is very unlikely that I will have to adjust the size again, so for me it gives that extra peace of mind, and thankfully the 222 was very easy to use and left no surplus or mess.

Craig
