Hi guys
In response to a couple of requests for a quick review heres my thoughts on the heavy WG sharkmesh and a couple of pics (quick snaps with phone, please ignore the quality).
Overall I have been very very pleased with this bracelet/strap. Its heavy guage and super tough and feel compliments a diver well. I have 7¼-7½ inch wrist and it feels comfortable,
Adjustment is via solid links on top and bottom straps along with micro adjustment on the clasp. If you are buying a cheap sharkmesh i would warn to make sure there's adjustment on both straps as otherwise a big shortening from one side pulls the clasp too far around the wrist and you lose comfort.
it is heavy obviously but i quite like the reassuring weight of it. Its also reasonably flexible for a heavier guage but unsure if theres enough flex if you had really small wrists.
Value is simply awesome but i picked mine up as a prototype at v good price, i would place the quality at much higher than the price point.
Clasp is sturdy with a secure locking mechanism that audibly clicks shut and safety fold-over.
Its polished so a little bling (similar to a Brietling in some ways). The SS seems reasonable but of course the clasp scratches up, i dont mind this as its not a dress watch.

Re: Watchgecko Sharkmesh on C60 review
Ok, just been back onto WG to buy something else and it appears this specific Geckota starp is no longer available but its possibly closest to this:
https://www.watchgecko.com/gallox-milanese-mesh.php
Which is on sale at moment from £88 to £44.. bit of a bargain!
Mines actually prob half way between the this and the heavy German meshes which are c. £180

They do look nice but somehow, a watch does not seem finished without its branded clasp/buckle.

Hi H0rati0, I generally prefer a branded buckle and did contemplate swapping on a CW bracelet clasp. After 6months I sort of forgot.
On leather I nearly always swap buckles or bader if CW. Ive also been known to buy OEM buckles to fit new straps for my Heuers e.g. Corfam on Autavia.

WG don’t do these anymore either, but it’s the most comfy mesh I’ve ever owned. They called it the double weave vintage mesh

Im liking that double weave, it would look really good on many vintage divers (nice watch bye the way)).
Ido like a good mesh/Milanese though as my first serious watch (OK maybe not serious but 1st watch I'd ever had over £50) was one of the 1st Skagens and had a super comfy and smooth mesh strap.. I loved that watch!
